AOE Ranks and Awards

Age of Empire Ranks:Note: In some circumstances, these ranks and awards can also be earned in the game, Empire Earth.
Note: you cannot advance to the next rank until you have achieved the rank before.

(1) Private: Automatically awarded when you first start your career.
(2) Corporal: Awarded when you complete basic training and one campaign.
(3) Sargeant: Awarded when you win a Deathmatch and a Random Map free-for-all on Standard with at least two computer enemies and no allies.
(4) Leuitenant: Awarded when you defeat a computer player in a 1 on 1 on Moderate.
(5) Captain: Awarded when you defeat a computer player in a 1 on 1 on Hardest.
(6) Major: Awarded when you defeat a human player without help from allies.
(7) Colonel: Awarded when you have played a MAJOR part in destroying at least 3 main human bases, (the ones you start out with) in one multiplayer. And defeated a human with at least Captain rank in a 1 on 1.
(8) General: ONLY awarded when you have completed the above, have a Tiger Dagger award, and a Master approves it.
(9) Master: Achieved when you have got the Diamond Sword award, the Diamond Shield award, the Surviver award, the Mass Attack award, the Medal of Bravery award, the Master Tactician award, and the Paladin award.

Note: Before every multiplayer, it will be decided if the players should display ranks or not with their names.If it is decided to, the following abbreviations must be be displayed to the left of each name:PVT, CPL, SGT, LT, CPT, MAJ, COL, GENThe abbreviation for Master will be the name in an sword blade. ex: (==={Falcon>Note: A Master can choose to ALWAYS wear his abbreviation if he wants.In Emperor matches, the current Emperor can wear the abbr. EMP.Note: If a new award is thought of, simply submit it to Landon for posting.NO CHEAT CODES ALLOWED!!!!!

Age of Empire Awards and Medals:
1'st Tour of Duty award: awarded when you have played for one year.2'nd Tour of Duty award: awarded when you have played for two years.3'rd Tour of Duty award: awarded when you have played for three+ years.The AOE Elder award: awarded when you have earned the 3'rd Tour of Duty award.
The Emperor award: awarded when you win an Emperor match.
Note: You can be awarded the following awards ONLY in a multiplayer with HUMAN players.Note: You can be awarded the following awards ONLY by someone with at least General rank.
The Bronze Sword award: awarded for distinguished battlefield lethality.The Silver Sword award: awarded for outstanding battlefield lethality.The Golden Sword award: awarded for excellent battlefield lethality.The Diamond Sword award: awarded for voracious battlefield lethality.
The Bronze Shield award: awarded for distinguished defense of position.The Silver Shield award: awarded for outstanding defense of position.The Golden Shield award: awarded for excellent defense of position.The Diamond Shield award: awarded for voracious defense of position.
Note: You can earn more than one of the following awards. (Except The Mark of a True Master, and Loyalist)
The Loyalist award: awarded when you have faithfully used the same civ. for a long time.
The Surviver award: awarded when you have survived a siege for a Very long time, or survived in a VERY dangerous position.
The Bloodsucker award: awarded when you build offensively around an enemy town and slowly drain the life to win.
The Lightning award: awarded when you defeat a human (by yourself), or TOTALY destroy his main base VERY fast, recomended within 10-15 min.
The True Friend award: awarded when you save a human ally from CERTAIN defeat.
The Survelliance award: awarded whe you have a significant portion of the map covered with towers or outposts so that you can see at least 3/4 of the map.
The Twins award: awarded when you win a game, sharing the same civ. with an ally. (being the same team and color)
The Purple Heart award: awarded when you use monks to heal units excessively.
The Relic award: awarded for recognized capturing of relics.
The Trade award: awarded for recognized trading with allies.
The Wise Man award: awarded when you have a 75% technology researched or higher in the end game achievments.
The Hoarder award: awarded when you gather 50,000 of any resource.
The Test of Time award: awarded for winning by wonder or relics.
The Cavalry award: awarded when you excessively use cavalry.
The Infantryman award: awarded when you excessively use infantry.
The Archer award: awarded when you excessively use archers.
The Catapult award: awarded when you excessively use siege weapons.
The Gunpowder award: awarded when you excessively use gunpowder units.
The Galleon award: awarded when you excessively use galleons.
The Fire Ship award: awarded when you excessively use fire ships.
The Demolition Ship award: awarded when use excessively use demolition ships.
The Bombardment award: awarded when you use excessively use cannon galleons.
The Grand Fleet award: awarded when you use a well balanced combination of ships.
The Perfect Army award: awarded when you use a well balanced combination of units.
The Naval Officer award: awarded when you use excessive naval force.
The Army Officer award: awarded when you use excessive army force.
The Brigadier General award: awarded when you maintain a very strong army AND naval force.
The Tiger Dagger award: awarded when you aggresively and repeatedly attack a human opponent without mercy until they are defeated.
The Gladiator Level 1 award: awarded when you win a battle with one enemy human army or navy. NOT awarded when attacking or defending a base, but when armies meet in the middle of the map or in a similar situation.
The Gladiator Level 2 award: awarded when you win a battle with two to three enemy human armies or navys. NOT awarded when attacking or defending a base, but when armies meet in the middle of the map or in a similar situation.
The Gladiator Level 3 award: awarded when you win a battle with four to five enemy human armies or navys. NOT awarded when attacking or defending a base, but when armies meet in the middle of the map or in a similar situation.
The Gladiator Level 4 award: awarded when you win a battle with six to seven enemy human armies or navys. NOT awarded when attacking or defending a base, but when armies meet in the middle of the map or in a similar situation.
The Legion award: awarded when you get five Gladiator awards.
The Centurion award: awarded when you get two Legion awards.
The Conqueror award: awarded when you destroy a human main base.
The Kings Champion award: awarded when you win a battle with four or more enemy human armies ALLIED against you. NOT awarded when attacking or defending a base, but when armies meet in the middle of the map or in a similar situation.
The Mass Attack award: awarded when you attack a human with a very LARGE army with at least 180 units.
The Viper award: awarded when you have 1,000 kills.
The Attila award: awarded when you raze 100 buildings.
The Iron Sword award: awarded when you win at least three battles with the SAME army, without using more than 20 rienforcements.
The Iron Fleet award: awarded when you win at least three naval battles with the SAME fleet, without using more than 20 rienforcements.
The Iron Fortress award: awarded when you have a virtually invincible fortress.
The Blockade award: awarded when you blockade an enemy island with a navy and completely surround them and prevent them from leaving for at least 15 min.
The Network award: awarded when you have at least three bases with at least 5 different types of buildings each.
The Champion award: awarded when you fight against at least two human enemies allied against you, alone, with no human ally, and no computer ally, and lose, but last for at least approximately 1 hr. 30 min. (Deathmatch or Random Map ONLY)
The Paladin award: awarded when you fight against at least two human enemies allied against you, alone, with no human ally, and no computer ally, and WIN.(Deathmatch or Random Map ONLY)
The Silver Star award: awarded when you fight against at least four human enemies allied against you, alone, with no human ally, and no more then one computer ally, and lose, but last for at least approximately 2 hrs. 30 min.(Deathmatch or Random Map ONLY)
The Invincible Sword award: awarded when you fight against at least four human enemies allied against you, alone, with no human ally, and no more then one computer ally, and WIN.(Deathmatch or Random Map ONLY)
The Medal of Bravery award: awarded when you show outstanding bravery in battle.
The Master Tactician award: awarded when you show brilliant maneuvers and incredible skill in battle.
The Medal of Honor award: This is the HIGHEST award you can get. It is awarded when you show UNBELEIVABLE skill, bravery, courage, and unsurpassed playing of Age of Empires. When it has been nominated for a player, ALL players that were in the game when it was thought to be earned, MUST vote to decide if the player earned it or not.
THE MARK OF A TRUE MASTER award: awarded when you are a Master rank, and have earned ALL awards.
